PHoenix Capital Campaign 2026
Home of the Brave Museum & Heritage Center
The Phoenix Campaign is a national effort to rebuild the Home of the Brave Museum and establish a new heritage campus in the mountains of Colorado. Founded in 1991 alongside Pearl Harbor survivors, the museum has preserved the stories and artifacts of over 100,000 World War II veterans.
Now, as America approaches its 250th anniversary, the next chapter begins.
Campaign Overview
The Phoenix Campaign is a national fundraising effort to rebuild and expand the Home of the Brave Museum as a heritage campus in the mountains of Southwest Colorado.
Inspired by the idea of renewal, the campaign represents the rebirth of a museum that for decades honored the generation who defended freedom during World War II. The next chapter will expand that mission — creating a place where history, veterans’ stories, Western heritage, and community gatherings come together.
The Phoenix Campaign will fund the development of the Home of the Brave Heritage Campus at Bear’s Ranch, a destination dedicated to remembrance, education, and civic connection.
The campaign officially launches during the America 250 / Colorado 150 Commemoration event on July 4–5, 2026.
