The Phoenix Campaign is structured in multiple phases to support the long-term development of the museum campus.


Phase I

• Expansion of museum galleries
• Development of educational programming facilities
• Veteran storytelling and archive initiatives
• Expanded visitor experiences across the ranch property


This phased approach allows the project to grow sustainably while building national awareness and support.

Phase II Capital Requirements

Construction Funding – Heritage Campus Main Facility Estimated Requirement: $3,000,000

Preliminary La Plata County plans include a 54’ x 72’ two-story structure designed to serve as the central exhibition hall, educational space, and event venue for the Home of the Brave Heritage Campus. Phase II funding supports full construction, building systems, code compliance, interior build-out, and contingency allocation necessary for long-term operational sustainability.
